Talking about pencils on Portland TV! Thanks to KATU for having me on; it was really fun.
The smoothies section of this menu from Cherrywood Coffeehouse is designed for both beginners and intermediates; beginners immediately see the five smoothie choices at the top and intermediates know to look at the bottom to “design [their] own”. Experts surely order things that aren’t on the menu.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about when I discuss beginners, intermediates and experts, read Cooper & Reimann.
I just got a Chromebook. It’s sort of how I’d envisioned that I’d use the netbook that I got four years ago, except that the terminal is a web browser instead of a bash shell.
I’m considering getting dumb bash terminal netbook to use alongside my dumb browser terminal Chromebook and to how I use them differently.
I purchased a Chromebook a week ago, shortly after my laptop hard drive broke. The Chromebook has been sort of cool. I’ve had two main problems with the Chromebook so far.
To fix the second of these, I might send the laptop in, which would leave me without a laptop for a few days. How do I handle this? I buy another netbook!
Or I could just replace the hard drive in my larger laptop.
